Aircraft Airworthiness Division
The mission of the Aircraft Airworthiness Division is to support the Polish Armed Forces in the controlled operation of military aircraft. On the basis of experience gained and the results of scientific research the Division prepares solutions that regulate the operation of military aircraft.
The main directions of works carried out by the Division are:
- comprehensive assessment of the technical condition of aircraft;
- non-destructive testing of the structure of technical facilities;
- numerical analysis and simulations of technical systems;
- measurements and monitoring of aircraft loads;
- material tests (metals and their alloys, rubber products, polymers and adhesive joints) of aircraft structures;
- design and development of systems for monitoring the technical condition of aircraft structures (Structural Health Monitoring -SHM);
- implementation of ASIP structure integrity management programs;
- supporting the implementation of European harmonized requirements determining the airworthiness of military aircraft;

- Laboratory for the Exploitation of Aeronautical Technologies
- Non-destructive testing laboratory
- Laboratory for Ensuring Integrity of the Aircraft Carrier Structure
- Laboratory of Data Analysis
- Laboratory of Strength Testing Materials (AB430)
