The laboratory operates in an integrated ITWL Management System that meets the requirements of the PN-EN ISO / IEC 17025 standard. The laboratory is accredited by the Minister of National Defense.
The laboratory performs tests in the field of correct operation of radio- beacons operating on frequencies of 406 MHz and 121.5 / 243 MHz, including:
- assessment of the correctness of radio- beacons in COSPAS - SARSAT and CSAR systems;
- spectrum analysis in radio bands
- measurement of the output power of the signal.
assessment of the efficiency of emergency transmitters:
- in laboratory conditions;
- in real conditions.
evaluation of the operation of rescue radios:
- examination of the implementation of special functions;
- development of research procedures for special functions.
The SAR and CSAR laboratory conducts radio- beacons tests in accordance with the requirements of PN-EN ISO / IEC 17025 and the following COSPAS-SARSAT and NATO standards:
