The basic task of the office is:

• Designing the LINK 16 network for mission needs and its distribution;
• LINK 16 monitoring and analysis for project purposes;
• Dynamic management of LINK 16 networks;
• System integration studies with the LINK 16 system;
• Research on LINK system components;
• Creating LINK 16 / WAN inter-system interfaces;
• Creating translators and LINK 16 display applications;
• Analysis, research and optimization of information flow in multi-network solutions based on the LINK 16 system;
• Development of new techniques for the use of LINK 16, their research and analysis;
• Development of new applications for the application of the LINK 16 system, their research;
