Another edition of the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce has just finished.

ITWL upheld the winning streak and once again obtained the highest laurels on this largest trade fairs in Eastern Europe.

This time, the competition commission, chaired by the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Defense, Sebastian Chwałek, awarded the IT System supporting proactive flight safety management in the Polish Aviation Service - TURAWA MATS. The award from the hands of the Secretary of State and the Director of the DPZ gen. brig. PhD. Eng. Karol Dymanowski was received by Deputy Director of ITWL professor Andrzej Żyluk and the team leader, col. PhD. DSc. Eng. Mariusz Zieja.

Another DEFENDER was awarded to a consortium (MUT, ITWL, and MSP) under the leadeship of Military University of Technology for the evaluation system of shooting for aerial purposes "TP-1 Air Shield". On behalf of the Institute, the award and congratulations were received by Professor Andrzej Żyluk.

In addition to the award-winning projects, the Institute also presented the UAS familly including: Hybrid DracoX unmanned aerial vehicle, continuous monitoring system using BSP - Horus, helicopter cabin model W-3PL Głuszec with a new, modular digital avionics based on the Universal Integrated On-Board System (ZSP-U) with three demonstrators of various system configurations: for Mi-24 and Mi-17 helicopters, Jet-engine aerial target and Virtual Training Module.
ITWL booth was visited this year by the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda, who was introduced to the secrets of Polish technology by the director of ITWL, Mirosław Kowalski, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs Andrzej Żyluk, Deputy Director of ITWL for Development and Implementation Jarosław Sulkowski, Col. Mariusz Zieja and other specialists from the Institute.

Among the outstanding guests who visited the Institute at the fair were: Head of the National Security Bureau - Paweł Soloch, Minister of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak, Secretary of State at the Defense Ministry, Sebastian Chwałek, MPs and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland and representatives of the foreign Armed Forces and other services.
