The 12th International Conference on Safety and Reliability – KONBIN 2024

The objective of the 12th International Conference on Safety and Reliability – KONBIN 2024 is to present the achievements of national and international scientific and research institutions engaged in the study of reliability within complex systems composed of the human – technical object – environment triad.

The topics covered at the KONBIN Conference reflect the current state of knowledge and research, particularly in the following fields: aerospace engineering, energy, automation and robotics, information and communications, civil and hydraulic engineering, chemical engineering, and environmental protection. Special emphasis is placed on:

  • safety and reliability of systems and technical infrastructure,

  • risk and safety analysis methodologies,

  • hazard assessment and prediction,

  • uncertainty and sensitivity analysis in safety and reliability modelling,

  • the human factor in safety and reliability,

  • psychological and sociological aspects of safety and reliability analysis,

  • expert methods and other approaches,

  • optimization of reliability and safety,

  • quality management systems,

  • safety regulations and standards,

  • safety and reliability management,

  • databases, forecasting, and mitigation of extraordinary natural and technical hazards,

  • pollution dispersion modeling,

  • flood risk prevention systems,

  • accident investigation methods across multiple sectors such as industry, transportation, public administration, education and training, emergency response, agriculture, and insurance.
