Deputy Chief of the Office of Defense Cooperation at the US Embassy met with Deputy Director for Development and Implementation of AFIT Ph.D. Eng. J. Sulkowski. The meeting concerned the possibility of cooperation within the framework of R&D took place on March 8, 2019 at the Institute's HQ.

The US delegation, in addition to Lt. Col. Mark Brykowytch was also joined by representatives of the International Technology Center - Northern Europe (ITC - NE), while the ITWL team consited of, among others, specialists from the Airplanes and Helicopters, Composite Aircraft Structures, IT Logistics Support and Training Systems Divisions.

Afterwards the guests submitted their entries to the ITWL commemorative book and visited the exhibition, on which items from over 65 years of institute's history are exhibited.

After the visit, Director Sulkowski received from the ITC-NE Director Marek M. Meeker a letter in which M. Meeker emphasized the broad possibilities of establishing cooperation between the two institutions in the near future. Commemorative ITC-NE medal with motto "Aedificare et Defendare" was attached to the letter.
