Brigadier General pilot Ireneusz Nowak - Commander of the 2nd Tactical Air Wing paid a visit to the Air Force Institute of Technology. The meeting was hosted by the ITWL Director Ph.D.D.Sc. Eng. Mirosław Kowalski, prof. ITWL and took place on March 3, 2020.

During the visit, Brig. Gen. pil. Ireneusz Nowak became acquainted with the works carried out at the institute, as well as with short and long-term ITWL development plans.
2nd TAW Commander in the company of the ITWL Director and his deputies - Ph.D. Eng. Jarosław Sulkowski and Ph.D. Eng. Jarosław Sarnecki, visited selected Scientific and Research Divisions, where he became acquainted with, among others, solutions in the area of C4ISR systems, IT Systems for Logistics and Aviation Safety of the Armed Forces. The general was familiarized with the research capabilities of the Tribological Systems Diagnostics Laboratory and the Computer Tomograph Laboratory at the Aircraft Engine Plant. In the closing part of the meeting, general Nowak made a solemn entry in the ITWL Memorial Book.
The meeting was also attended by: Col. pil. Miron Nawrocki, Lt. Col. Sławomir Pałosz - Head of the 2nd TAW Technical Supervision Team and the Institute's Managing Staff.
