Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki gave the honorary award "For Merits to Inventiveness" to the Air Force Institute of Technology. The awarding ceremony took place on 30/05/2019 in Warsaw.

The award was given The President of the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland Edyta Demby-Siwek and collected by ITWL Deputy Director professor Andrzej Żyluk.

The honorary badge "For Merits for Inventiveness" is given to innovative companies actively working for the development and popularization of inventions, having special results in the implementation of new technology, as well as contributing to the development of science and boldly introducing innovations into everyday use.
