In the 32nd Tactical Air Base in Łask, on April 27, 2022, the ceremony of transferring 11 friction testers produced in Poland was held. Testers will be used for detailed measuring the braking distance of aircraft.
ITWL was responsible for conducting receiving tests in accordance with the requirements of the 3rd Regional Logistics Base and an expert institution - the Infrastructure Department at the Armed Forces Support Inspectorate. Receiving tests were made in field conditions at the airport of the 25th Air Cavalry Brigade in Leźnica Wielka.

It should be emphasized that the checked devices have significantly exceeded the requirements, because the manufacturer used their additional technical solutions in them. Particularly noteworthy are the pressure monitoring systems in the measuring wheel and in the wheels of the vehicle in real time and the consumption of the measuring tire. In addition, the CSR friction tester has a modular structure that can be further developed. Thanks to this, in the future the device can be equipped with new, functional measuring modules, e.g. for assessing the texture of the surface. Already today the manufacturer offers a device on a vehicle with an electric drive. The next step can be an autonomous vehicle carrying out tests without human participation.
