The Institute presented two inventions at the 16th International Exhibition of Inventions and Innovations, INTARG 2023, held in Katowice on May 24-25, 2023.

The "Turbine Engine with External Combustion," Patent No. 240657 (Inventors: Edward Rokicki, Jarosław Spychała, Mirosław Kowalski, Andrzej Czarnecki), was awarded a gold medal with a diploma from the INTARG 2023 Trade Fair and a medal with a diploma for a special award from the Canadian association Award of Toronto International Society of Innovation and Advanced Skills TISIAS. Among the special awards, only one such award was granted.

The second of the presented inventions, titled "Rotor Simulator for Vibrations of Flexural and Torsional Vibrating Blades of Rotor Blades" (Inventors: Romuald Rządkowski, Piotr Piechowski, Ryszard Szczepanik), received a bronze medal with a diploma from the INTARG 2023 Trade Fair.

The trade fair was accompanied by the 29th Exchange of Top Inventions Awarded in 2022 at the World Invention Fairs, under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Education and Science. During this event, ITWL was awarded a certificate of recognition from the Minister of Education and Science for the high-level awards received in connection with the presentation and promotion of inventions in 2022 at international invention fairs. The awarded invention was titled "Rocket for Distributing Leaflets," patent granted, application No. P.433280 (Inventors: Wiesław Buler, Roman Kamiński, Włodzimierz Kępczyk, Marian Tybura).

ITWL was represented at the trade fair by the Head of the Promotion Department and the Patent Spokesperson of ITWL.

This year's INTARG trade fair was characterized by a particularly high level of presented solutions, professional presentations, and the arrangement of exhibition stands. The support of this event by top national and international institutions, led by the World Intellectual Property Organization WIPO and the Ministry of Development and Technology, is the result of the high international position that the Trade Fair has developed over the years, raising the prestige of all the awards and medals granted. Presentations included around 300 inventions and innovations from over 20 different countries, with the largest foreign delegation represented by Thailand.
