The 39th meeting of the Advisory Group of the Forum of Military Airworthiness Supervisors of the European Defence Agency (CAWAG) took place at ITWL on June 25–27, 2024.
The meeting's purpose was to update the EMAR requirements in the field of continuous airworthiness for European Union countries.
22 participants from European countries, including representatives from the Ukrainian side for the first time, attended the CAWAG meeting. On behalf of ITWL, PhD.D.Sc. Sławomir Klimaszewski - Chief Specialist of the Aircraft Airworthiness Department - participated in the forum.
Participants commemorated the memory of the heroes of the Warsaw Uprising during a visit to the Warsaw Uprising Museum.
Participation in the work of the EDA MAWA Forum Advisory Groups provides a unique opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the harmonised European requirements for the airworthiness of EMAR military aircraft, which can be successfully used in the process of their implementation in national conditions and in the process of preparing ITWL to meet the new requirements and obtain the relevant certificates.
