On March 25 and 26, 2025, a CapTech Air meeting was held in Prague, hosted by the Czech Ministry of Defence. During the meeting, a review of the Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) was conducted, and discussions were held regarding the need to update the Technology Building Blocks (TBB) and the role of industry in shaping European research in the field of military aviation.
On the second day of the meeting, a joint CapTech Air session took place. Project leaders of Category B/Operational Budget (CAT B/OB) initiatives presented progress on their respective projects.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the Air Force Institute of Technology (ITWL): Senior Specialist Lieutenant Colonel Ph.D. Eng. Radosław Przysowa and Assistant Professor Ph.D. Eng. Michał Dziendzikowski. The projects presented by the ITWL representatives received wide interest from the meeting participants. These projects are designed to address current needs related to the modern battlefield.
The ITWL representatives held numerous meetings with representatives from companies such as Airbus DS, Airbus Helicopters, Saab, MBDA Italy, WTD61, and ESC Defence. The continuation of research cooperation with EU partners in the field of military aviation systems – through EDA CapTech Air – offers significant opportunities to leverage potential projects for the needs of the Polish Armed Forces.
