Aero Engines Division
The main task of the Aviation Engines plant is work in the field of aviation technique diagnostics by developing new research techniques and monitoring and diagnosing of all types of aircraft engines, including:
- qualification tests of power units deployed to military aviation
- technical diagnostics of drive units;
- development of new methods for diagnosing aircraft engines;
- systems for phase portraits analysis;
- monitoring the spectrum of turbine blades using microwave sensors;
- implementation of control and measurement equipment and diagnostic systems;
- extension of technical and inter-repair resources;
- analysis of consumption products contained in liquids;
- research and expertise on the analysis of events occurring in the operation of aircraft engines.
Division includes: Laboratory for Technical Condition of Rotor Flow Machines and Laboratory for Diagnostics of Tribological Systems.
