An article co-authored by Lt. Col. Dr. Eng. Radosław Przysowa from the Department of Aircraft Engine ITWL, received the award of the EASN (European Aeronautics Science Network) association for the best conference article of the 9th International EASN Conference, which was held in Athens on September 3-6, 2019.

On March 4, 2020, Military University of Technology hosted workshops to determine the needs of the Polish Aviation Group (PAG).

Ukrainian delegation headed by the Commander of the Air Force of Ukraine Gen. Colonel Sergii Drozdov, paid a visit to the Air Force Institute of Technology. The meeting took place on 27.02.2020 and was hosted by the Institute's Director Ph.D.D.Sc. Eng. Mirosław Kowalski, prof. ITWL.

The delegation of the Defense Policy Department of the Ministry of Defense (DPZ MON) paid a study visit to ITWL. The host of the meeting, which took place on 7.02.2020, was the Director of the Institute Ph.D.D.Sc. Eng. Mirosław Kowalski, prof. ITWL.

ITWL took the patronage over the first Denton Drone Days conference, which took place in Warsaw on the 17, of January 2020.

Director Ph.D.D.Sc. Eng. Mirosław Kowalski, prof. ITWL and the General Director of the Lithuanian company Helisota Ltd. - Juknevisius Gintaras signed a letter of intent regarding the future cooperation of both companies.
