The Voivode of Masovia, Konstanty Radziwiłł, extended his thanks to the Air Force Institute of Technology (ITWL) team for their commitment and support in providing assistance to neighbors from the eastern border, offered to the authorities of the voivodeship since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine.
The Director of the Air Force Institute of Technology, Ph.D., D.Sc. Eng. Mirosław Kowalski, and the President of the Łukasiewicz Center, Ph.D. Piotr Dardziński, signed an agreement to establish comprehensive cooperation within the potential of both institutions. The official signing of the document took place during the 2nd Forum of Innovation in the Polish Armed Forces (R&D+Army), which occurred on October 19th at the Military University of Technology.
Like is previous editions, the XXX International Defence Industry Exhibition, turned out to be highly successful for the Air Force Institute of Technology. The Polish technology, developed together with partners, was appreciated by the Committee in Kielce.
The International Defence Industry Exhibition will start on September 6. During the four days of the Kielce fair, it will be possible to admire the latest achievements and projects currently carried out at the Institute.
Director of ITWL PhD. Dsc. B. Eng. Mirosław Kowalski, Prof. ITWL notifies that in accordance with the decision of the Minister of National Defence No. 117 / MON of August 22, 2022, the Air Force Institute of Technology changed its subordination.
ITWL was subordinated to the Deputy Minister, Secretary of State in the Ministry of National Defence - Mr. Marcin Ociepa, through the Department of Innovation of the Ministry of National Defence.
On August 12, 2022, the Air Force Institute of Technology celebrated the Polish Army Day, which is usually celebrated on August 15 as a holiday of the Polish Armed Forces in memory of the victorious Battle of Warsaw in 1920, fought during the Polish-Bolshevik war, which saved Europe from Bolshevism.
The Minister of Education and Science awarded the Air Force Institute of Technology the scientific category "A" in mechanical engineering. The Minister’s decision of 28 July 2022 was issued based on the evaluation of the quality of scientific activity, resulting from the Act on higher education, which was conducted by the Science Evaluation Committee.
The Air Force Institute of Technology, together with the Faculty of Transport of the Warsaw University of Technology, organized the Conference of Safety and Reliability KONBiN 2022 for the eleventh time. The event was held on June 7-10 in Piekary Śląskie.
