On June 15, 2022, two days before the 69th anniversary of the establishment of the Air Force Institute of Technology, a ceremonial meeting of the ITWL Managing Staff was held in the conference room of the Center for Innovative Aviation Technologies named after President Ryszard Kaczorowski.

The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle ‘Wizjer’ developed by ITWL was presented on the stand of the Polish Armaments Group S.A. during the Conference of Defence and Security Defence 24Fay, which was held on 24-25 May 2022, in Warsaw.

ITWL’s representatives participated in the meeting of the EREA association - Association of European Research Establishment in Aeronautics, which was held on 17-18 May in INCAS (National Institute for Aerospace Research ‘Elie Carafoli’) headquarters in Bucharest.

 ITWL was distinguished with a Special Award of the 28th Exchange of Top Inventions Awarded in 2021, which was organized during the 15th International Invention and Innovation Show INTARG 2022. The show took place in ‘Spodek’ in Katowice on 11 - 12 May 2022.

ITWL presented its solutions at the Infrastructure Constructions Expo - New Infrastructure. It took place on 10-11 May 2022 in Kielce.

The Air Force Technical Institute has once again been awarded the prestigious prize in the Stanisław Staszic for the best innovative products "Laurel of innovation", organized by the Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations, the Supreme Technical Organization. The handing of the Golden Laurel took place at a gala, organized on April 28, 2022. In the Warsaw House of Technician.

In December 2021, the period of 31 months of implementation of the most complex project implemented by ITWL, which was the development, production and implementation of the test environment for the NATO AGS Battle Laboratory system, has ended.

ITWL received the top prize at the International Police and Public Security Fair - Polsecure 2022.

In the 32nd Tactical Air Base in Łask, on April 27, 2022, the ceremony of transferring 11 friction testers produced in Poland was held. Testers will be used for detailed measuring the braking distance of aircraft.
